IMAG0279

How Far Along: 39 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 19lbs – yep! I gained 3 lbs in 1 week.

Sleep: It is what it is. I’m used to not sleeping. I get up to pee about 4 times a night.

Best Moment of the Week: Finding out that this is the last week I will be pregnant.

Food Cravings: Cake. Specifically chocolate cake with cherries and vanilla icing.

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Symptoms: Pain. Back, vag, stomach, hip, leg. It just hurts.

JP’s Symptoms: Berty has had some moments of rudeness this week. I think I deserve some major pampering and he thinks I need to suck it up.

Movement: Movement is painful these days, but I’m loving every minute of it!

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: Margaritas! We had Mexican Saturday and I would have loved a margarita!

What I'm looking forward to: Meeting my baby girl!

Weekly Wisdom: Listen to other people’s advice but ultimately you know what is best for your situation. I always ask for other people’s opinions but I’m still going to make my own decision.

Also, eat lots and lots of cakes and girl scout cookies while you’re still pregnant!

Milestones: I made it! We scheduled an induction date!

So other than finding out that I ate my weight in cake last week, I also learned that I am now 2.5cm and 80% effaced. The doctor feels comfortable inducing me now and we scheduled for Thursday!

I’m so so so excited to know what day we will finally meet her!

Thanks for the comments on the bathroom! Berty really appreciates it!

How Far Along: Still pregnant! 38 wks

Total Weight Gained: 16lbs

Maternity Clothes: Ok really. I might be wearing my sweatpants and too small t-shirts to work this week. I am running out of room in my maternity clothes.

Sleep: I’m tired all the time but I can’t sleep. I get up at least 3 times a night to pee.

Best Moment of the Week: Bathroom is finished!! That’s all I have to share.

Food Cravings: Cake. I’m still going to Sonic every morning for a water. The lady knows my order when she sees me pull in.

Food Aversions: Eggs. Berty had some nasty smelling omelet at good ole Waffle House on Saturday and I thought I would die!

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks. Pressure. Back pain. Indigestion. Luckily I haven’t had any swelling so I’m very thankful for that!

JP’s Symptoms: Berty busted his butt to make sure the bathroom was finished this weekend. I may or may not have threatened his living situation but it was finished and he still lives with me!

Movement: When she moves it hurts. I have been neurotically writing down all her movements so I can make sure I feel her enough during the day.

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: Not being pregnant. I can’t remember what it’s like to not be pregnant.

What I'm looking forward to: I guess I’m looking forward to going BACK to the doctor on Monday to see if I’ve made any progress. I would really like for my child to make her appearance soon.

Weekly Wisdom: Ignore people. I mean I understand I’ve been pregnant for years. I don’t need to be reminded. Yes, I’m about to pop. I look in the mirror every morning.

Milestones: 11 days left.

Berty went with me to the doc yesterday. I am 1.5cm. Should I be excited about the .5cm change?

He wants to see me back Monday to check my progress again. He really wants me to be dilated more before we induce. I would prefer to go into labor on my own but we will see. I have a small window of time to work around the hubs off pattern. He will take off work regardless but we would like for her to come while he’s off so he doesn’t have to take so much time off work.

I’m walking every night till Monday to try and hurry things along. I wish I had thought to ask about stripping my membranes. Maybe he can do that on Monday?

Have a great Tuesday friends!!

37weeks 37wks

Sorry for the craptastic Blackberry pictures. And yes I am taking pictures in the nursery. Please note the disaster that’s happening in the background. This may or may not be why I haven’t posted pics of the nursery yet.

How Far Along: 37 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 16lbs

Maternity Clothes: I am running out of clothes that fit. I try really hard to pull off some previously cute not quite so unfortunate maternity looks but lets face it, when you’re as large as a house nothing looks cute. I feel ridiculous!

Sleep: Pure exhaustion. The lower the baby gets, the more I pee on myself which requires more trips to the bathroom – this always happens while I’m trying to sleep.

Best Moment of the Week: Survival. Let’s face it….getting up and going to work is an accomplishment these days. I wish I could say that our bathroom was finished and that I’ve been in a fabulous mood all week…but well you know.

Food Cravings: Anything sweet. And still drinking ridiculous amounts of water.

Food Aversions: Eggs. Berty had some nasty smelling omelet at good ole Waffle House on Saturday and I thought I would die!

Symptoms: I’ve felt a lot more BH contractions. Mostly in my back. The vag still hurts and I complain all the time. I just feel exhausted and there’s so much that I need to get done. I have meltdowns daily and my husband is probably going to leave me if this baby doesn’t come out soon!

JP’s Symptoms: Berty has been nesting. Outside. He trimmed all the bushes and cut back our crepe myrtles and made everything look pretty for our baby girl’s arrival. Which is apparently no time soon.

Movement: Movement has slowed down a lot. I still feel her moving just not as much. I shake her to get her to move. Is that bad?

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: I’m really starting to miss my pre preggo body. I am always tired, always mean, and I can’t move without making a scene.

What I'm looking forward to: Going back to the doctor on Monday and if I’m still 1cm it’s gonna be bad! And sad because there’s really nothing I can do about it.

Weekly Wisdom: People don’t realize that when they ask, “Oh! You’re still pregnant?!” or, “You haven’t had that baby yet?!” that you want to hit them in the face. Or genitals. No! I sure haven’t had “that baby” yet. Please stop asking me. When I’m no longer at work you can assume that I had “that baby.”

Milestones: As of today there are 18 days till my due date. I just might make it. Maybe.

My bestie Courtney took me to the doc yesterday. She was coming for good luck. Let’s share a picture of her…..

courter

I didn’t gain any weight. I haven’t progressed. I have had no swelling. My blood pressure is great and my baby is never coming out. I’m still 1cm and about 70% effaced. The doc assures me that this is great for my first pregnancy. Yay! :(

He did say that when I go back Monday he will schedule me to be induced the next week. So when I’m 39 weeks I can force her to come out. We will see how I feel about this on Monday!

Bumpdate

36wk 36wks

How Far Along: 79 36 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 16lbs – I gained 2 pounds last week.

Maternity Clothes: I still wear my t-shirts at home but they don’t cover the belly. I would rather wear the same pair of leggings every single day than wear maternity jeans. They drive me crazy for some reason.

Sleep: I’m exhausted by the end of the day. I probably won’t survive motherhood. I tend to turn into the pregnant biotch from hell when I’m running on a lack of sleep!

Best Moment of the Week: I’m really trying to think of a fabulous moment this week but let’s be honest, I’m 27 months pregnant and over it.

Food Cravings: Anything sweet. And lots and lots of water. I’m not nearly as hungry as I have been. I’m pretty sure I’m going to pop out a 10lb baby. I have no room left for food!!

Food Aversions: Eggs. And my fridge smells like some kind of green vegetable and I cannot get rid of the smell!! I’ve thrown everything away! Makes me want to puke!!

Symptoms: I hurt. My back hurts. More than anything….my vag hurts. Apparently it has to stretch for the baby to come out. Who knew?! You’d think I would have researched this a little more before I got knocked up. You live and you learn right?!

JP’s Symptoms: I’m pretty sure that Berty does not understand that I’ve been pregnant for what feels like years. I need to just suck it up and deal with it for the next 3 weeks. Ummm yeah. Ok.

Movement: She’s so low. I feel her feet in my ribs and her head-? on my bladder. When she moves I may or may not pee on myself. But just a little!

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: Normal clothes. Normal boobs – you know boobs that don’t leak. I’m not going to know what to do when I can bend over!

What I'm looking forward to: Ummm….her birth. But not the labor part. Just all the parts after that!

Weekly Wisdom: People who tell you your baby will come when she is ready need to be punched in the face. You think I don’t know she’ll come when she’s ready?! No sh*t! I’m ready now and I realize that’s selfish. Ask me if I care.

Milestones: As of today there are 25 days till my due date. It doesn’t sound like a long time but it feels like forever!

I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday. I’m still only 1cm dilated and about 70% effaced. I’m praying for more progress by next Monday. I don’t want to be induced but let’s be real. If I make it to my due date, TM is being kicked out!

Bumpdate/Doctor Visit

week 35

How Far Along: 35 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 14 lbs

Sleep: I was sleeping great but now I’m back to waking up once or twice a night to potty.

Best Moment of the Week: Getting to hear TM’s heartbeat at the doc. I love that sound! Her heart rate is always random. It was 135 this time and 156 last time.

Food Cravings: This is not actually a food but I have gone to Sonic every morning for the past week for a Route 44 water.

Belly button/stretch marks: Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I can make it without any stretch marks.

The belly button has popped and you can officially see the bottom. It’s nasty!

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks. Some intense vag pain. Leg cramps and back pain.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms: He has a new work schedule. I haven’t seen him this week so he’s doing great I’m sure! *Although he did mention that he “couldn’t wait for me to have this baby.” – Like that’s gonna make me less of a bitch or something.

Movement: Homegirl is officially head down and I feel her feet in my ribs all the time. You can visibly see body parts sticking out of my belly.

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

Milestones: 35 weeks! It’s craziness!

I went to the doc yesterday. This was my first time to be checked and I had my Group B strep test. Let’s just say – if you’re pregnant be prepared to be violated at your 35 week appointment. And I don’t mean your hoo ha. :)

I’m dilated 1 cm and I’m 70% effaced. She’s head down and apparently really low which explains the pain and pressure. Now I wish I knew what this means but honestly I wasn’t expecting to hear that and I forgot all the questions I wanted to ask. So basically I know nothing and I go back on Monday. I mean surely it’s a good thing that I’m effaced?!

12157682792_hN2c6 12157736826_W2qBm

*Please note: I look slightly frazzled. I’m not sure what the deal is but no need to fret. I’m okay really.

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 14 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Exclusively. I still prefer to wear leggings instead of maternity jeans.

Sleep: Sleep has been okay. I’m starting to wake up more frequently to pee.

Best Moment of the Week: Berty finishing the nursery and therefore getting to continue to live with me for the remainder of my pregnancy!

Food Cravings: I have had a severe craving for sweets this week. Especially cake and ice cream. However, we have no ice cream and JP would not go get me any. :(

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I can make it without any stretch marks.

The belly button has popped and you can officially see the bottom. It’s nasty!

Symptoms: I’m pretty sure I’ll be prepared after these ridiculous leg cramps I’ve been having. Let’s throw in a little back pain, lots of Braxton Hicks, and the occasional loss of appetite. That should about do it for this week.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms: I can’t complain this week. I think he was scared I would cry so he finished up the nursery, moved in all the furniture and made me one happy pregnancy bitch lady.

Movement: Movement is insane. It’s starting to hurt and I think she might be dropping….like into the vag or something. I can’t figure it out. I’ll have to ask the doctor exactly how low she’s gonna get without falling out!

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: I miss pretty much everything. I’ve really needed a glass of wine lately.

Milestones: If I go through with being induced at 39 weeks that means 5 more weeks girlies!! I think we can make it. If I go all the way….we have 38 days. I can live with that!!

My bloggy friends rock and I am so grateful for every single reader. I don’t think I could have made it this far without you guys!

Now who thinks I should go through with this childbirth class next weekend? Will I be traumatized?!?

Bumpdate

 33weeks 33belly

How Far Along: 33 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 13.5 lbs – added another pound.

Best Moment of the Week: Almost finishing the nursery! All our furniture is assembled and after hours of rearranging I’ve finally found a set up I love! All we need is a crib mattress and I have to finish revamping her closet!

Food Cravings: We bought this Saturday. There may be 5 pieces left!

chocolate

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: The bb popped and please note that the bottom of my belly button is disgusting!

No stretch marks yet. I feel lucky and I’m hoping I can make it without any!

Symptoms: The larger I get the harder it is for me to pee in that little tiny cup they give you at the doctor. It’s very likely that I pee on my hand every time! Don’t worry I’m an excessive hand washer!

I feel like I just ran a marathon after everything I do. If I have to stand up or walk for more than 3 minutes I turn into a hot mess!

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms: Deadline for the nursery is Friday. Let’s see if Bert lives another week!

Movement: This is insane! I can see body parts poking out all the time. She moves like crazy and it’s starting to hurt some.

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

Milestones: Another week down!

I had my appointment yesterday. They’ll start checking me next time and then I’ll go every week. I got the ok from my fabulous doctor to schedule an induction if I make it to 39 weeks! Woo Hoo!!

I asked about the “crooked line” on my belly. He seems to think I’m neurotic and said the line might go away. Eventually. I would hate to have to resort to skin bleaching!

If I’m induced at 39 weeks that means we only have 6 weeks left people! I think we can make it!

Thanks for all the suggestions on must have baby items. I’m going back to Tar-jay tomorrow to add a few more things and I think we’ll be set!!

*If you’re a new follower please leave me a link to your blog! I need to pretend like I’m working and I love a new blog to stalk!

Bumpdate!

It’s that time again! Time for me to mention inappropriate things like oozing nipples and post it for all the world to see. You’re welcome Daddy!

32wkscrop

How Far Along: 32 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 12.5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I still try to wear my pre-pregnancy t-shirts at home. They no longer cover my belly. I miss normal clothes!

Sleep: Sleep has been pretty rough. I could really use a nap everyday.

Best Moment of the Week: Surviving all my meltdowns and not killing Bert.

Food Cravings: I’m still eating pop tarts like crazy. Lemon-Berry slush from Sonic. I’ve had one everyday!

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: No stretch marks that I can see. The belly button should pop soon – and who wants to see the bottom of their belly button?!? Gross!!

Oh and this linea nigra line thing I have going on is not straight. WTH? I’m too neurotic to have a crooked “straight line” running down my belly!!

Symptoms: Its hard to breathe. And my back hurts. Also my joints hurt. WTH? Does pregnancy turn you in to an old person?

I’m still having some nipple oozage and I can no longer see my vag.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms: The Hubs is pretty bad about wanting to put things off. I’ve set a deadline for the completion of the nursery. Let’s see if he makes it.

Movement: Movement is starting to get weird. I will see a big lump on one side like she’s trying to escape. A foot or hand or elbow or something will poke out! It’s like there’s a little alien in there trying to escape!

Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney

What I miss: Ummm breathing. And having normal skin and hair. I miss the days where I didn’t look like death.

Milestones: 8 weeks left people! I think I might survive. Maybe.

Bumpdate

31crop 31wks
*yes that’s my vacuum cleaner in the background – I clean so often that I never put it up…….:)
How Far Along: 31 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 12.5 lbs – gained another pound this week
Maternity Clothes: I got a new pair of maternity jeans and I am super excited! Now I have 2 pair of pants for my pictures!
Sleep: Not sleeping past 4 anymore. Now when I wake up I’m starving!
Best Moment of the Week: We got the crib and changing table put together this weekend! Pictures to come!
Food Cravings: Pop-tarts – I bought pop-tarts to survive the ice/snow storm of 2011 and I ate an entire box. Before the ice came.
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: Still feeling lucky with no stretch marks! Only a little belly button left to pop!
Symptoms: I can’t breathe. I hurt. I haven’t had any swelling yet so that’s good. Umm…I have stuff oozing from my nipples. You’re welcome!
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  I have an entire post planned about my meltdowns. These are usually unintentionally caused by John Paul. He’s sick this week so I can’t hate on him too much.
Movement: I swear she does gymnastics in there. I feel her move all the time.
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: Feeling normal – sorry I’m not one of those women who loves being preggers.
Milestones: 9 weeks left! I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I’ve picked the perfect day to be induced if TM hasn’t made her entrance before then….I just need to convince my doctor…

Thank you so much for your sweet thoughts for Maggie! She’s go back to the doctor tomorrow.

Bumpdate!

30week 30wk
Please forgive the horrendous-ness that is my face in these pictures. I have had no sleep!
How Far Along: 30 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 11.5 lbs
Maternity Clothes: I’m going to buy more leggings today. The hubs is concerned that I wear the same black pair every single day. And can I please mention that I cannot stand full panel maternity pants/leggings. The panel drives me insane!
Sleep: I never sleep past 3 anymore. I might fall back asleep by 5 or 6. It really sucks.
Best Moment of the Week: Knowing that my child will not have to sleep on a dog bed.
Food Cravings: Pickled okra and banana peppers.
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: I haven’t noticed any stretch marks – I’m sure Bert would inform me if he noticed any.
Symptoms: Pregnancy. I feel like I can’t breath well. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I get tired so easily. I’m trying not to freak out because I know it will get worse!
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  Since informing me that I do not have a disability, John Paul has been very helpful around the house. I only cried twice this week so he’s been pretty sweet!
Movement: She moves like crazy. But sometimes I forget when I last felt her and I freak the eff out. Maybe I should write this down??!!
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: Sleep.
Milestones: 10 weeks left people!! The countdown is on. Please don’t tell me I have to go past my due date if she isn’t here before. I will just die. Please note that my mother-in-law has already informed me that she thinks the baby will come 10 days late. We won’t mention this again, right?
Thanks for hanging in there with me friends! I know I’ve sucked at blogging but I’m back now!

Bumpdate!

Hi Friends!! Since I suck at life I never posted our Christmas card…….
vpy=0
So Merry Christmas from the Denton’s…super late as usual!
Moving on…..
29wk 29wks
How Far Along: 29 weeks
Total Weight Gained: So I may have gained 8 lbs in 4 weeks. I’m blaming it on the 12 pies I’ve consumed this past month. Total gained 11.5.
Maternity Clothes: My wardrobe consists of leggings and whatever tops I can find to cover my ass.
Sleep: Sleep is overrated.
Best Moment of the Week: 4d ultrasound yesterday!
Food Cravings: I ate at least 25 sugar cookies last week……
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: Still no stretch marks. Check out the bb on the pic above. I think it looks crazy!
Symptoms: Pregnancy. I’m over it. I have 11 weeks left and I’m sure it will get much worse. I won’t blame you if you leave me!
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  I was kindly informed this week that pregnancy is not a disability. Is there any need to write anything else. I’m sure you can guess my thoughts on this one.
Movement: All the time. Except during the ultrasound. She wouldn’t budge no matter what we did. Fabulous!
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: Sleep.
Milestones: I’m ordering her furniture today. This is huge people. I just knew my child would have to sleep on a dog bed!

Bumpdate!

Sorry I suck so bad at blogging…I’ve been feeling quite lovely the past week. :)
IMAG0109
Please excuse my lovely attire.
How Far Along: 28 weeks
Total Weight Gained: Doctor’s visit on Monday…we shall see!
Maternity Clothes: Yes!! I can still wear some of my pre-preg tops but not many.
Sleep: I have been sleeping great but I feel so exhausted when I get up.
Best Moment of the Week: I have a hard time thinking of great moments. I seem to only recall the rough ones.
Food Cravings: Pie. Orange juice. Pickled okra. I could survive on this.
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: Still no stretch marks. Part of the belly button has popped out. And the scar from my belly ring back in the day is looking kinda crazy.
Symptoms: Braxton hicks. Back, leg, body pain. Heartburn. Headaches.
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  Impatience. I think this is due to the fact that I’m in constant need of sympathy and he’s fresh out. Laziness. I get tired of asking him to do things for me so I’m trying to take care of things myself. Boo!
Movement: I wish I could distinguish body parts. I think I can feel her head but Bert says I don’t need to push on my stomach because I might damage her brain!
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: Being able to shave my legs comfortably. Unfortunately I can no longer do this and the legs are neglected. Whoops.
What I’m looking forward to: ultrasound on the 27th!
Milestones: 81 days left – for those of you not counting!

Bumpdate!!!

27wks
How Far Along: 27 weeks
Total Weight Gained: Still needing a scale for this one. Last doctor visit I was up 4lbs.
Maternity Clothes: An awesome friend gave me some maternity pants and I’m living in leggings.
Sleep: Sleep is so crazy lately. I either can’t fall asleep or I can’t stay asleep.
Best Moment of the Week: Super fun presents for TM from some awesome friends!
Food Cravings: I’m still loving pie. I ate an entire pecan pie this weekend. I also drank a gallon of orange juice Saturday.
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: No stretch marks. Belly button is crazy these days!
Symptoms: BH contractions. Back and leg pain. Heartburn – do you think this means my child will have hair??
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  This is Berty 7-on week so I haven’t seen him a lot. We will stick with irritability due to lack of sleep and a wife who complains constantly.
Movement: I feel her move a lot and sometimes it hurts. When I want her to move she doesn’t. And then I freak out and I get all dramatic. And then she barely moves. I’m crazy. I can’t help it!
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: This week I’m going with a mimosa. I’m loving OJ right now and throw in a little champagne and I would be one happy girl!
What I’m looking forward to: ultrasound on the 27th!
Weekly Wisdom:  My next door neighbor has triplet girls – 3 months old. Let’s all take a moment of silence for her because you know she needs it! At least I’m only carrying 1 baby!!
Milestones: I think I’m in my third trimester. At least some app on Bert’s phone says I am. So yay me!!

Bumpdate

Thank you so so so much for all your sweet comments on the name. It was nice to hear what you all think. I made John Paul read every comment so he could see how awesome my bloggy friends are! Y’all made my day!
xmastree
I haven’t done a belly pic yet. Shocking, I know! And I’m pretty sure that the side-face-fat-roll is here to stay people. If she’s still here after birth I’m taking donations for plastic surgery.
How Far Along: 26 weeks
Total Weight Gained: I’m pretty sure I’ve put on a few pounds this month. I should invest in a scale…..
Maternity Clothes: I seriously need to stop wearing pre-preggo jeans. I look a hot mess. The belly band isn’t really helping anymore.
Sleep: Who needs sleep? I need to be prepared to get up all night anyway right?
Best Moment of the Week: Getting to see how huge I looked in a few Christmas card pictures.
Food Cravings: Pie! This is the best craving yet. Any kind of pie. I don’t care. Well maybe except Mincemeat pie. – what’s mincemeat anyway?
Food Aversions: Eggs.
Belly button/stretch marks: So I forgot about the belly button picture and I can’t take one with my phone but I will share this week. Maybe the butterfly/bird tattoo as well. It’ll be great fun!
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks and this ridonkulous back pain that I’m assuming is something similar to sciatica? Maybe? Or death. I can’t decide but it’s making it painful to walk. I might need a motorized scooter.
John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms:  Other than the 3 or so times I almost killed him this week, Berty has  been pretty good.
Movement: All the time. Except when I have a slight moment of paranoia and think I haven’t felt her move. Then she doesn’t move for like hours – or minutes. I’m not really sure.
Gender: Girl – Turner McCartney
What I miss: Is this category even necessary anymore. We all know I want wine. And the fact that Bert has had a glass every. single. night. doesn’t help.
What I’m looking forward to: Our next ultrasound on the 27th.
Weekly Wisdom:  You’re gonna snap. It’s bound to happen. Maybe not as frequently for you, but at our house a hormonal outburst is quite common. Don’t feel bad if you yell at your hubs/boyfriend/sperm donor, they have no clue what’s going on with your body. If you have to speak slightly louder to help them understand then so be it.
Milestones: I’m pretty sure the baby can hear now. I should probably stop yelling. Can someone call my Hubs and invite him over for 3 months or so?

Bumpdate!

I post these so randomly that I forget how many weeks pregnant I am. It’s quite unfortunate really.

25wkbw 25wkscrop

I made the first picture black and white because I feel it makes me look less scary. You’re welcome.

I’m removing a few categories this week because honestly I don’t need to give pregnancy advice.

How Far Along: 25 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 4 lbs gained.

Maternity Clothes: Yes please. I really need to stop trying to wear pre-pregnancy pants. It always results in a big fat fail!

Food Cravings: Berries.

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: I so forgot to take a picture of my nasty belly button! And the hubs told me that my super skank butterfly tat was now a bird. He’s so sweet. :)

Symptoms: Still having a few Braxton Hicks contractions every day. Starting to have some heart burn. And this hardening of my stomach really freaks me out! But I haven’t called the doctor. Yet.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms: Laziness. It seems harder to get the Hubs motivated to do things this week. And we’re always keeping track of who did what so we can make each other do things – does that make sense?

Movement: All the time.

Gender: Girl.

What I miss: No need for this. Everyone knows I want wine.

What I'm looking forward to: My 4D ultrasound next month.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I was definitely too busy stuffing my face and sleeping to blog!

Bumpdate!

24wks

I cropped my side-face-fat-roll out. You’re welcome!

How Far Along: 24 weeks

Total Weight Gained: Lost a pound trucking it through the Opryland. 4 lbs gained.

Maternity Clothes: Who’s sending me their maternity jeans so I don’t have to buy any?! You’re all going to be tired of seeing me in those black leggings. Oh and my jeggings! – don’t hate!

Sleep: I can’t get enough. It seems like it’s been harder to fall asleep lately.

Best Moment of the Week: Let’s remove this category for this week. K thanks!

Food Cravings: Orange juice and Pickled okra….still.

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: Belly button is kinda funk nasty. I’m not gonna lie. The flatter it gets the nastier it looks. Visualize with me please! I will post a pic next week!

Symptoms: I’ve had a few Braxton Hicks contractions this week. Just add that to the usual complaints.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms – Bert has been quite the doting husband this week and very concerned about all the walking we were doing. He gets 2 thumbs up this week!

Movement: All the time.

Gender: Girl.

What I miss: Comfortable sleep positions. Wine. The usual.

What I'm looking forward to: Sharing the name with everyone! I haven’t told our families the name yet but I can’t wait to announce it on the blog!

Weekly Wisdom:  Sleep when you can!

Milestones: Another week down!

Bumpdate

23wks-1 23wks-2

How Far Along: 23 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Still rocking my belly band but I could use some maternity jeans. – I would rather spend money on baby girl though!

Sleep: I slept good this week, but I always wake up at 5!

Best Moment of the Week: I think we finally decided on a name!

Food Cravings: Raspberries

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: The belly button is getting more shallow by the day. Still no stretch marks.

Symptoms: Ligament pain. Back pain. Incessant bitching complaining. Acne. Bleeding gums. You know all the fun stuff.

John Paul’s pregnancy symptoms – I know this is selfish but it really pisses me off when I complain about being pregnant and Bert says “You wanted to have a baby!” – umm…yes I did. However, now I want to complain about it. Give me some sympathy.

Movement: All the time.

Gender: Girl.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach. Alcohol. I could really use a nice glass of wine to take the edge off!

What I'm looking forward to: Sharing the name with everyone!

Weekly Wisdom: Relax when you can. I obsess about keeping the house clean and then realize that I really don’t care and I take a nap! It’s so worth it!!

Milestones: 17 weeks left – hopefully less – but I don’t want to jinx myself!

Gender: Girl.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

What I'm looking forward to: Still looking forward to deciding on a name.

Bumpdate – 21 weeks

21weeks 21wks

How Far Along: 21 weeks

Total Weight Gained: 3lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Most definitely. I really need to invest in some cute maternity jeans.

Sleep: Sleep has been fabulous this week!

Best Moment of the Week: Feeling the baby move like crazy.

Food Cravings: Arby’s inside-out cinnamon bites – they are to DIE for. Seriously. Go get some.

Food Aversions: Eggs.

Belly button/stretch marks: My belly button is way huge. It’s disgusting. Like a crater or something. No stretch marks. Yet.

Symptoms: Impatience. Not so sure this is new though. And apparently being pregnant makes you bleed randomly – like from your gums and nose. It’s really nasty.

I’m also going to include my husband’s pregnancy symptoms – bitching, complaining, complete rudeness, and the inability to realize that I’m always right. He also has good moments. :)

Movement: Mostly in the mornings and a lot at bedtime.

Gender: Girl. And y’all I’m so excited! I’m working on scanning in the ultrasound pics for a full post on that experience.

What I miss: More alcoholic tendencies – but this week I’m missing margaritas. No clue why – maybe because we’re heading out for Mexican after work.

What I'm looking forward to: Naming our baby girl. More on that later.

Weekly Wisdom: If you want something done you might as well do it yourself. Especially if your husband works nights. And you really don’t ever get your way.

Milestones: I’m over the hump. It still seems like FOREVER until March but at least I’m closer than last week!
