I cannot believe it’s already been a month! That means only 2 more weeks at home with my baby girl. :(
The past 4 weeks have been the hardest and most rewarding weeks of my life! We love our baby girl more than we could ever imagine.
This pic is from yesterday – the 10th. Of course I am a day behind on posting!
Turner Mc is sleeping 3.5 to 4 hours at a time and nursing like a champ. She absolutely hated her “sponge baths” that we gave her before her cord fell off. She finally lost her cord at 3 weeks and she LOVES relaxing in her tub!
She only cries when I’m pumping or eating and usually constantly between the hours of 10 and 12 – at night. :) Other than that she’s a very happy baby! I’ve learned if we stay up till 12 or 1, I only have to get up once before 6am!
She’s sleeping in her cradle beside our bed and spends a lot of time in her swing during the day. I am adjusting to functioning on a lack of sleep and I love being a mommy!
Here are the pictures we took tonight…..
Happy 1 month Turner McCartney!!

Oh my goodness I can't believe it has already been a month! That is insane! She is so super cute and that totally does suck that you have to back to work in 2 weeks.
AWW I LOVE THAT BABY
oh, i just love those pics!! it's crazy how time flies by SO FAST when you have a kid. i seriously feel like i was just in the hospital myself and that was 6 months ago! i remember all too clear of what sleepless nights look like. i remember getting up every 3-4 hours too, it SUCKED.
The lack of sleep continues & I'm still sleep deprived at times. It's all worth it though, huh?? She's so cute!
She's so adorable! Glad to hear that you are adjusting to motherhood pretty well :)
she is precious :)
oh my goodness, she is SOOOO cute!!! i can't believe she is already 4 weeks!! i'm glad you and her adjusting and that feeding is going so well!
p.s. have you read the book "the happiest baby on the block"? i read it after a lot of friends/family recommended it and swear by it. i've read it but i haven't gotten to try out the techniques in it yet (obviously) but there is a lot of calming techniques in there. it might be worth looking up and checking out to sooth turner during her crying hours. the book is a bit brutal to get through but you could see if you could just find info on the main points through google. i know this is unsolicited help ;) just wanted to throw it out there in case.
She is SO cute!
She is so sweet! I love her onesies and how her Binky is huge on her little face! Being a mom is the greatest!
She's a doll! I can't believe she's already a month old, but I'm so glad you're loving being a mommy!
I have been dying for you to update us!! She is adorbs and looks just like her daddy right now! The swing is the BOMB and sounds like she has peebs second sense to always cry when I would eat or pump and couldnt get to him easily! ha

Aww, what a sweet girl! What are you going to do for childcare when you have to go back to work? It's so nice to see another career girl out there! Most blog mommas are SAHM. I will definitely not have that luxury! I hope you enjoy your last two weeks @ hom!
